Special Board: CFDA Fashion Awards

Through what I've seen, Gucci was the star of the night. A lot of celebrity wore dresses from the most recent collection. We could also sense a spring atmosphere where pastels colors where put foward. It was obvious that the Italien label' designs where strongly present since the creative director Alessandro Michele was nominated. I think this award is influence by the It girl style where mixture of different designs appear on the red carpet.

Special Board: The Tony Awards

Let's play with the hearts, this very elegant award's red carpet was more than chic but also romantic. The colours where mostly dark and rich while a lot of guest opt for satin dresses. Different pattern where worn but mostly some with flowers , a reminder to the red carpet decor which include alot of Roses. The city's Glamorous vibes where brought alive , un clin d'oeil to the old hollywood.

Personally passionated about films, watching movies about Fashion is even better to my interest. That said, The Balmain Style is the perfect mixture for a Fashion afternoon. Very last minute, because thats how it works in Couture and YES Balmain has enter the tight circle of Couture designer, the team struggles, restart, cancel, stays up all night and finally cracks the Champagne!

The looks present a Balmain Army stronger than ever. All the materials used for the collection are not a secret anymore and this is when you understand that this company have a strong competitive advantage compared to it competitors, which are very little since Balmain is unique!

A small company with a big impact such as their clothes on the runaway can not have a better success. The young creative director Olivier Rousteing who is now 30 is more than a visionary but also a innovator. He has taken the fashion house and brought a young and strong side developed in a way that was never seen before.
